Wolfgang Wicht is a retired Professor of English Literature at the University of Potsdam, Germany. He is the author of Utopianism in James Joyce’s ‘Ulysses’ (Heidelberg: Winter, 2000) and recent articles on the reception of Woolf and Joyce in East Germany and the urban place in Ulysses. He has published numerous articles on Caribbean post-colonial literature, Yeats, Heaney and other areas of Irish and English literature.
