Dr Harvey O'Brien is lecturer in film at the School of English, Drama & Film, UCD. He is author of Ireland: The Evolution of Ireland in Documentary Film (Manchester, 2004) and a co-editor of Keeping it Real: Irish Film and Television (Wallflower, 2004) and the journal Film and Film Culture.
