Tony Tracy is head of Huston School of Film and Digital Media, University of Galway. His research focuses on Irish and international cinema, combining industry studies with a particular interest in themes of masculinities and ageing. He is the author of White Cottage, White House: Irish American Masculinities in Classical Hollywood Cinema (SUNY 2023) and co-editor of several collections including Ageing Masculinities in Contemporary European, Anglophone Cinema (Routledge, 2022) and Ageing Masculinities in Irish Literature and Visual Culture (Routledge, 2022) and co-author of The Historical Dictionary of Irish Cinema (Rowan & Littlefield, 2019).
