Byron Heffer recently received his PhD from the University of Sussex. His research was funded by the Consortium of the Humanities and the Arts South-east England (CHASE). Heffer’s dissertation studies atavism, posthumanism and the politics of declining life in the work of Wydham Lewis, Mina Loy and Samuel Beckett. His essay on Beckett and Nazi biopolitics is forthcoming in Beckett Beyond the Normal published by Edinburgh University Press.
