Daniela Panzera is Italian and is living in Limerick, Ireland since 2002. She is an independent scholar, and was awarded a PhD in English at Mary Immaculate College (University of Limerick) in October 2015. She was teaching assistant in the same university from 2012 to 2015. Her research focuses on the influence that Dante had on modern poets, particularly on authors such as Seamus Heaney, Thomas Stearns Eliot, and Eugenio Montale. Her areas of expertise are Medieval Poetry, Modern poetry, Literary Theory, and Romanticism.
