Lesley Lelourec is Senior Lecturer (Maître de Conférences) at the University of Rennes 2 in France. She completed her Ph.D in 2006 on the English Perception of the Irish Question and specialises in British attitudes to – and knowledge of – Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Troubles, and Anglo-Irish relations. Her current areas of research are British media representations and the teaching of Ireland in English schools. She is a research associate at the Centre for Irish Studies in Rennes and member of the PSAI (Political Studies Association of Ireland).
