Marta Miquel Baldellou is a PhD candidate in English Philology at the Universitat de Lleida with a government scholarship. Member of the research group DEDAL-LIT focused on the conceptualisations of ageing in the English-speaking countries. Her field of research focuses on the analysis of the concept of the transatlantic coming-of-age of female and male characters in nineteenth-century English and American literature. She has contributed to conferences and journals with papers and articles focused on the coming of age.
