Noelia Carmona Rivero is a Substitute Lecturer at the University of Extremadura and a PhD candidate at the University of Granada. She holds a BA degree in English Studies from the University of Extremadura and an MA Degree in English Literature and Linguistics from the University of Granada. Her thesis research explores the representation of masculinities in Irish literature through the work of Donal Ryan. She has participated in several national and international conferences presenting her work on Irish masculinities in fiction. Her research interests include Gender Studies, Studies on Men and Masculinities, and Irish Culture, Media, and Literature.
