Antía Román-Sotelo holds a BA in English Studies (2018) and an MA in Advanced English Studies and its Applications (2019) from Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. She has been awarded a FPU fellowship from the Ministry of Universities of Spain (FPU19/01794) to carry out her PhD dissertation under the supervision of Prof. Laura Lojo Rodríguez. Her dissertation examines the historical, political and social reasons that contributed to the oblivion of Ireland’s participation in the Great War through the analysis of contemporary narratives. Román-Sotelo’s main research interests include trauma and postcolonial studies.
