Eamon Maher is Director of the National Centre for Franco-Irish Studies in IT Tallaght and editor of the Reimagining Ireland book series with Peter Lang Oxford. In 2011 his monograph ‘The Church and its Spire’: John McGahern and the Catholic Question was published. At present he is also co-editing two books, Peregrinations and Ruminations: Franco-Irish Connections in Space and Time (with Catherine Maignant) and Picking up the Pieces: A Socio-Cultural Critique of the Celtic Tiger (with Eugene O’Brien).
