Edward O’Rourke is a recent graduate of the University of Edinburgh, where he has undertaken important research on the Irish-American author Maeve Brennan. O’Rourke has published on the topics of women in urban spaces and pop culture. He is also interested in twentieth-century Irish women writers, postcolonial writing, and mania in diaspora writing. Edward O’Rourke’s first monograph, Maeve Brennan: A Place in the Mind, is currently in press with Routledge.
