Kane Geary O’Keeffe is a PhD researcher in Film and Screen Media at University College Cork. Their PhD project examines the myriad ways in which diegetic screen technologies have responded to the recent COVID-19 pandemic within the context of the filmic horror genre. Their research explores the intersections between horror studies in film and video games with studies of gender, online cultures, and technology.
