Rachel Gough is a writer, filmmaker and PhD candidate at the Department ofFilm & Screen Media at University College Cork. Her research focuses on representations of rural Ireland’s ecologies. She is co-founder of Haunted Futures. In 2023 she was awarded the Lord Putnam Scholarship. In 2024 she received the CACSSS Creative Connections Award. Her fiction work has been published by Outpost, Bealtaine, Quarryman, The National Flash Fiction Anthology and Best Small Fictions.
